I made little pictures foam this winter. Weather Question? Lack of time? A bit of both ... And it is not always easy to renew itself around a single topic. Actually, my subject is not the foam itself, but rather his ability to capture light.

For proof, these three pictures where one strand of moss reflects the light atmosphere of the moment.

Petit, clouds ... The color of the foam off. This is an opportunity to photograph in contreplongée: no risk of encountering a backlight too violent, or a sky burnt.

Photo of foam is a good exercise, but requires a true macro lens for a magnification sufficient if one seeks to isolate one or a few strand (s) of foam.

• It is easier to photograph in diffuse light (cloudy, or even a slight haze) the foam is often humid, with glossy surfaces and alternating light and dark areas. An overcast reduces contrast. Good exposure is easier to find and can be dedicated only to choose his angle.
• In sun, the photo of foam quickly becomes a headache ... We need to find broadcasters natural blur background and foreground that are not in the shadows for not too many dark areas on its image.

But despite these difficulties, we must recognize the foam that it remains faithful to the annual meeting, during these long months in which subjects are rare natures macros ...
