Brown Discharge Bladder Infection

Orange Mushroom: the mesenteric tremella (tremella mesenterica)

tremella mesenteric photo: a beautiful orange mushroom!

Unexpected meeting (not that much) on the eve of a highly anticipated spring instead: the mesenteric tremella (Tremella mesenterica) . Ah yes, the mushroom season is not over! This all crumpled orange fungus is visible in late autumn, winter and early spring. It is said edible fungus, but no culinary interest. If it has not much to do on our plates, it gives our sensors the opportunity to make colorful pictures at a time when nature is a typical mineral face and rather bland.

bright orange, gelatinous fungus: Tremella mesenteric

That morning, my tremella was very wrinkled ... Desiccated and slightly soiled land, it has not offered anything other than these illustrative photos, using just its shape and texture that contrasts with the texture of the tree branch on which I found. Indeed, the mesenteric tremella does not grow on the ground. It is a saprophytic fungus that grows on mycelium of another fungus that lives himself on the wood.

We therefore find the tremella mesenteric on dead wood of deciduous (or sometimes in trees already sick), outside jelly. In times of drought, it hardens and shrivels, but once the moisture returns, she finds her gelatinous and translucent.

lovers of mushrooms, I wants to meet with jelly fungi look better than mine: I imagine many photos macros to limit the attraction playing with shallow depth of field in the folds of this beautiful orange mushroom, all against the light of course, to take advantage of its transparency!
This article is an opportunity to send a wink particular site Mycological Discoveries Laurent Francini, I urge you to visit. And I thank the author for his help on the side of botanical and mycological identifications of some of my photos library.
