Preparation of sage tea :

It can be prepared by pouring a cup boiling water 1 teaspoon dried sage leaves. It must be infused for several minutes before of the filter and add sweeteners or honey, if desired.
In the case of fresh leaves, a tablespoon of chopped sage leaves can be used and the tea is prepared similarly.

Advantage sage tea :

sage tea is beneficial in managing stress. It is astringent, sedative and expels the gas, it clears the respiratory tract, it is a good gargle for sore throat and helps to overcome colds.

Sage is useful for night sweats because it reduces sweating. Sage tea reduces also the movement of milk from lactating mothers before weaning, prevents the formation of kidney stones by dissolving the residue of uric acid, and regulates menstruation.

An infusion of sage can be applied to the scalp to reduce dandruff.

Precautions:

At high doses, salvia can overstimulate and should be avoided by a person who suffers from epilepsy. Sage should also be avoided in early pregnancy.
